Michael, I’ve been using a similar method for a while now, and I’m happy with the results. Below is a picture of the cabin of my Grand Banks cruiser showing the floor, which was done using that method. There more shots in my photo gallery.

Hi all.

I did not realise  my note about planking would draw so many different methods of doing the decking, all of which a extremely good and effective. I have realised now that which ever way you choose to plank, its certainly not a job to be rushed.

My  current build is 48th scale so I think i will try Geoffrey`s idea with the thin ply.
