Over the past few years I have tried all of the parcel / courier services and have found Hermes to be the best by far. Our local Hermes driver (Dave) takes great care of all parcels that he delivers and picks up.

I have never had a lost or late parcel with Hermes and would recommend their service.

Hi Paul can you send Dave down here please, the guy from My Herpes who eventually picked up a parcel from my place (3 days late) couldn't give a toss when I moaned about the non existent service!! (I didn't bother to find out what his name was to because the question I reckon would be too difficult for him to answer) . That was the first & last time I have used them.. Most probably unlucky I suppose to have the only delivery driver with an IQ measured in fractions….

That particular guy sure gets around! I'm sure he was the (only) Herpes bloke I ever had dealings with. Their idea of "next day delivery" evidently involves starting the clock only after 48 hours from collection. I let him know just how impressed I was.
Meanwhile Royal Mail are still evidently in the process of delivering an item which I posted to West Bromwich on 1 June, First Class Signed For. According to their tracking system it hasn't yet left the post office to which I took it. I'm awaiting to see what the results of their investigations are. No doubt a book of four First Class stamps as compensation will be the opening gambit………
As for Parcel Force, why anyone would want to use them is beyond my belief. Get a quote from Interparcel.

I always go with UPS, not the cheapest, but so far (touch wood) all the parcels I have sent with them have arrived at the customers house with the same number of bits in the box that I put in..

As Mr M, says Interparcel, P2G etc always worth cross checking all the sites as prices do vary

For several years, I have used UPS, sending them via Mail Boxes Etc who seem to have offices in most UK towns & cities. They have never broken or lost anything. I deliver them to the local Mail Boxes Etc local office, and UPS collects from them the same day. Quickest delivery so far was Preston to Hongkong. Gave to Mail Boxes Etc on Monday, delivered on Wednesday midday Hongkong time! A UK delivery is about £25 for 10 Kilos.

By taking them in myself, I avoid being trapped in all day waiting for a collection, which can be anytime between 0900 and about 1900!

                      Bob
