Occre Ulises

I have no joy with my other posting but now wonder if any one is building Ulises.

I have just got as far as all the frame of the hull and am about to start on the planking.

It would be interesting to hear of other peoples builds and any problems!

Hi Greg,

I'm just about to start on this one………… I just joined the forum. I ordered the kit over Christmas and it should be here next week……… I'm looking at putting together what I need to make up a jig out of MDF to build the keel and frame…………. So I have my first question??? I'll need to mill a slot for the keel bow and stern to sit in …….. perhaps you could tell me what width the keel is and how deep the slot should be ??? ……..

I built mine upside down so did not need a jig.

Well that's a perspective I didn't consider Greg ………… But thanks. I guess I really need to hang on until it turns up but for sure it'll be a major learning curve.
