New Cap Marquette

Has anyone here had any issues with New Cap Marquette stuff? I ordered an anchor from Cornwall model boats, not only did they manage to add an extra 50p somehow to the price shown on their website (might be right enough but price plus postage price dont add up lol )

Anyway the Anchor was a Sand/Darnforth Anchor which really the quality of it not to mention that it doesn't actually stay fixed together is actually really poor shoddy item.

Had used that brand before and had no complaints just curious as to whether this is isolated or the standard of their items is disgracefull through the range now.

I have bought a lot of yacht gear from Cornwall MB in the last 3 months for my Fisher 34 project. Most if it was CAP fittings. The only problem I can recall was with the crew figures in 1/20th scale: All four figures had slightly different sizes between left and right hands and one of them came with TWO right hands. CMB would have rectified the problem for me but I told them not to bother as it meant sending a new crewman all the way to Norway!

It'll be interesting to see if anyone ever notices it…..depends if anyone is even interested in looking at the yacht/crew when I get it launched!
