        This was an easy one.  She is the USS NORFOLK DL-1, my first ship of six in the Navy.  Norfolk was unique being one of a kind and the last all steel destroyer built prior to the DDG-51 class.   She was built from close to the USS ATLANTA plans and had a double bottom.  Great ship for a young sailor.  I served on her from Jul 64 – Jan 67.
