MTB KIT to R/C

i wish to know how to convert my MTB kit into radio control.

i have read ed bishops article but he does not go into detail i.e. size of prop shafts what type of rudder be it home made or bought.

i am keen to do this conversion but need some more guidance on the subject …

please assist
