He has made some recent posts in my Grand Banks cruiser thread, as well as one on 23rd May in a Barrel Back thread.

            Hello Sam

I have had a spell in hospital where I was able to do short periods of logging on and posting but I am back home now.

            Thank you for the thought.

                    Hello Patrick

Really happy that you managed to get hold of the model.

The splitting of hulls / superstructures in very much a personal thing and depends upon what you want the model to do or how much access you need to get inside the model.

If you wish to keep the section as a seperate piece you could use thin velcro pads to hold it in position but, as you will be finding out the Trent is a very delicate model and does not take kindly to agressive messing about.

Speaking for myself I dont like to many loose bits on top of a boat as they tend to blow off at the most akward times so I would make the fix permanent by using something like a twinpack epoxy glue.

                    Good luck with sailing.

                    Paul
