Motor & prop recommendations

As the title suggests, I'm looking for recommendations for a motor/prop/battery combination for a new project I'm working on.

The boat will be 1/144 scale, a nominal 600mm long, 150mm beam and weigh in at around 2.5-3kg. Ideally I would like to operate at a scale speed of 15 – 20kts.

Can anyone advise please?

Andrew. What style of boat?

As it is of a modest size, a 385 motor on a 6 cell Nimh batt will be perfectly serviceable on anything from a 30 to 40mm prop, but prop size really depends on boat type. A more dumpy type hull might want a low power 540…

Also machinery choice depends on how much room there is an how much of the overall weight can be devoted to it.
