Model club listings

Is there any chance of a full [or whats known to be a full list] of all current model boat clubs?

There are a few sites going online with lists of model boat clubs, but most are either out of date, with clubs submerging beneath the waters or the site has been left unedited for so long, the contact details are no longer current.

A lot of people look to magazines like this one for guidence and think this would be of a great help to a lot of people .

On this website, on the left hand side if you scroll down is an icon ‘Join a Club’.

If you click on that, the (known to us) associations and their websites are listed which usually include their affiliated clubs.  Whether or not these associations choose to keep their websites up to date is regretfully not something we can control, but  generally I should imagine they are fairly up to date as regards club information.

My predecessor did start to compile a list of clubs but, as Paul says, it proved to be impractical as we are reliant on being advised of contact changes and website addresses etc. and it simply doesn’t happen! So the next best thing was to provide links to the main associations as they are most likely to have updated information.
