H iPaul no iss the fact they want you to subscribe to the magazine just too look at a list that bugs
I don't want to unduly protract the discussion but I still don't quite understend the point you are making.
The is no 'list' of articles as such, the production of indices to the magazines was discontinued many, many years ago, long before the digital age.
A list of the contents of the magazines going back to 2009 is freely available in the Features section which is readily accessible to anyone browsing the website. This was introduced to make it easier for people to locate articles which they may be particularly interested in. You can then buy a copy of the relevant issue, the article itself or if these are not in stock then ask on the Forum if anyone has a copy of what you are looking for.
The digital editions go back a further two years when the magazine was initially digitised but when you access those, you are not getting a 'list' of articles but full access to the content of each magazine or in other words all the back issues since the digitised versions became available. These have a commercial value as evidenced by the fact that you can purchase hard copies of many of these issues where they have not already sold out. As you will appreciate, MyTimeMedia is not a charity but a commercial concern.
In an ideal world there would be a searchable index going back to the year dot, but the reality is that Model Boats magazine has been subject to a number of changes of ownership over the past 20 years and the priority of the owners in each case has been to sell magazines rather than devote resources into building up archival records where the cost of doing so will never be covered by the income from enquiries. We might wish it was otherwise but commercial considerations prevail.
In the meantime, there are a number of members of this Forum with magazine collections who are usually very happy to help out people with genuine enquiries relating to articles in historical issues of the magazine. They do give their time for free.
