You will find a new panel on the left hand side of the page giving links to Model Boats on some of the major Social Media sites.

This has been set up by Patrick Astill of MyTimeMedia with the intention of making the website more accessible to users of Social Media and providing additional commenting opportunities for model boaters to those on this forum.

Well worth a look.

I also gave up on facebook some time ago, never had a twitter account and never intend to. Now about to join the grumpy old Billy no mates, except – must say I like the look of the Pinterest site, when Colin added it, this was the first time I'd ever heard of or seen – it looks ok.

Well if you want my opinion about Social Media… No I had better not… only upset people and my wife says I should stop being a grumpy old s*d. I mean there are so many other things I can moan about… people who let their dogs poo in the street and not pick up, mobility scooters who drive through shopping precincts as if they were on the M4.. now you've got me going again! Must go and take my pills
