Whllst taking out my old mtb out the other day i had some chap watching with gret intrest asking how fast and does it do this and does it do that .When i bought it to shore and out of the water the cheky sod turned around and said ” tell u what mate i will give you 20 quid for it and take it off your hands ” Needless to say i told him to go and jump in the lake,well not quite but you get my drift!!!
When i explained to him the time and cost put in he said i could keep it an shove it as it was a load of c**p ,Cheeky sod this was my very first bulid and is over 14 years old and has stood the ravages of time perfectly .

Why are people so calous and rude ,cant they understand the time,love and effort put in to our hobby .Full of praise until i turned down his offer   but like a true gent i did suggest he build his own or goto a shop or on line and buy a kit or ready made OR come back with 10 times what he offerd me .to which this charming gentlman told me to go forth and multiply and staggerd off with his can of tenants extra.

Cheers neil nice to know that i’m not alone esp on a wet soggy cardiff day when i havetogo to work instead of working on my boat BUT the work provides the cash to work on the boat in the 1st place .
