Hi, I’m looking to buy the plans for Miranda Steam Launch for my Dad –  ordered from myhobbystore.com but they were never delivered and customer services are rubbish.

It would be great if the plans that were ordered could be chased up, here is more detail of the order:

Miranda Steam Launch MM1348 and Miranda Steam EngineMM1349

ordered on 3/12/09 under my Dad’s name – John Brayford

I had an email saying the plans were dispached on  7/12/09.

My Dad has spoken to someone on the phone a couple of weeks before Christmas and has written a letter, and I sent an email to customer services for him at the weekend, but no response and no plans as yet.

Any help with this order would be greatly appreciated.

given the weather,……. and given the time of year,……… given staff holidays………… and the fact that half the workforce hasn’t been able to get into work for days on end over the period that is in question  i would have thought a little more patience would have been more helpfull.

 

but as usual, the customer in this country wants miracles immediately!!!!

I have just purchased plans for the Steam Launch Miranda. AS I understand, others have found difficulties in understanding the plans especially the keel in the stern area. Others have reported adding additional formers in constructing the hell.

If anyone can offer help or suggestions, I would be gratefully appreciative. I understand there was a construction article in the Oct, 1983 issue of Model Boats. I would be happy to pay for a reprint if available.
