I am trying to recall the name of a big black sailing ship that was berthed at Porthmadoc in North Wales for many years……Just to put my mind at rest

It was later moved down south to the little TV drama site for filming Victorian Farm

It had a name like Garlandstown…..I`ve Googled it but got nowhere

Any idea?…..Bob

Hi Bob,

Yes, I found it OK. Can't add anything though, apart from feeling what they have said to you was correct and it was a Blue Funnel ship rather than a destroyer.
