Just returned from a great day out at the Mersey River festival . Plenty to keep any maritime enthusiast well and truly entertained . From tall ships to warships all open to the visitor and a cracking good model exhibition at the new Liner Terminal with magnificent views of the ships moored up which include the Trinity house vessel Galatea and HMS Dauntless The festival continues on Sunday . Also as this pictures shows some really different forms of water jet power demonstrated in the Albert dock..
