The March Modellers trade show at Ellesmere Port Boat Museum is on, keep a look out for further information and dates.

The David E Owen competition for statically judged models  was a prime competition feature of the original Convention at the Boat Museum  for over 15 years . This prestigious event    has now been reintroduced  as part of the March Modelers spring model event at the  Ellesmere Port Boat Museum {March 6-7  2010 }. Although the name remains the event has been restructured  to include “marine models”  judged in Scratch ,Semi Scratch  , Kit  and Modified Kit .As  the  judging is   based on a standard     the awards will reflect this, with ALL  models being exhibited in a dedicated area  within  the Museum.   For those interested  contact [email protected]
