In the Isle of Man the official Diamong Jubilee day is July 6th just to be different.

On June 3 you have the Thames River Pageant, so we are having a Manx version in the North of the Island at Milntown House on the 6th July, a Friday, and the day after our national day. It will be the Milntown Model Boat Pageant and I hope to get at least 60 boats afloat.

Are there any other model boat pageants planned anywhere? We hope to assemble as many "floating" boats as possible and intend to have several long tows of vessels parading the lake.

We'll let you know how we get on.
