Hi everyone. Have recently for some reason this year got back into modeling. To start with its plastic kits and eventually back to balsa wood. Can anyone recommend magnifying glass with lights and arms/holders. Have seen many on amazon and eBay and some sound good but don't have heavy bases . Recommendations welcome .

I have a helping hands thing with LED lit magnifying lens. Got it from Sussex model centre (MG-03A it was) I find it very good.

Couldn't find one with heavy base as you have noted, so its attached to an old chopping board which makes it very stable. Even new chopping boards are beer money from most supermarkets.
