IRead with great interest thel article about your building the ex pilot boat Vigia that I discovered on Google.. For many years I have been seeking any information on this small ship.In 1962 I was a young 20 year old seaman working for sizemograph surveys working out of the port of Lowestoft and the Vigia was used as a support / supply ship for the main fleet doing the surveying..I was bosun on the Vigia and lived on hoard her for many months,eventually being moored up alongside Richards Shipbuilders in Lowestoft.I eventually paid off the ship and settled down and married s local girl ss I originated from Gravesend,Kent,,still married to same girl and still living in Lowestoft all thses years later..I have many times wondered what became of the little Vigia as she was such a good sea ship out in some of the bad weather we encountered in the North Sea.Any further information or pictures of this ship would be greatly sppreciated..Mr.Vince Dale
