I help out at the National Lifeboat Collection in Chatham Dockyard in Kent, and I have access to and can photograph all the lifeboats in the collection. If anyone wants photos of any of these boats for modelling purposes please send a mail and I will see what I can do.

Lance,

I am interested to know more about ‘North Foreland’. My father scratchbuilt a 1/16th scale model from the original plans. Does the museum have log, books, photos, etc about this boat. If needs be I can come to the museum – I just need to know what’s there first.
