      Want to put a pair of brushless motors to replace existing 380 /385's (tried both)

      Props are 3 blade 30mm . what motors would be suitable and esc's with reverse

          Still building mine at the present. But I have 2 x 380 on the outer shafts which will drive 30mm 3 blade plastic props. Centre motor will be a Leopard 2826/17 brushless driving a 35mm(?) 3 blade prop.

          If that doesn't work I may change the outer motors to brushless at a later date.

          Esc for the brushless will be the 30 amp marine from Component Shop.

            Thanks Tim wont the 380's limit you to 7.2v unless you use individual batts which is gonna be a bit crowded

              I have a small 8.4 v battery for the brushless motor. Depending on the final wt I might squeeze a 9.6v in.

              How did you arrange access to the inside? Looks difficult to provide access to both sides of the outer motors, especially if I want to change the motors later.

                  No . I haven't glued it down. But I didn't think it would watertight just to rely on the screws.

                    It is not too bad on water ingress unless a bit choppy but I found it did not like choppy anyway
