Italeria e boat

On the l;ast stages of my e boat i knock the bloody thing of the irong borad bending the stanchions and smashing thre bridge housiong into 3 bits .Do i A repair and fill an paint over the cracks or B send off for a neew one ?? Any one got an adress for me

Andy. In the first place, what were you doing ironing !! or were you doing a bit of "extreme ironing"?

It really depends how bad this is. As the plastic you have is extremely glueable and fillable, I would say bash on and try some repairs. Stanchions. You may be able to get some brass ones, not a full set, but sufficient to replace those that were broken, even if it means having some slightly different. This could be disguised by having the two sets one at one end and one at the other, This would balance out and not look so odd. Or just simply dont put so many on.

Purchasing a new kit will be a bit expensive.

It is not generally known but I BELIEVE Airfix used to sell spare bits, or at least frames of parts, if requested. Could try Italeria?? nothing ventured etc,

Hi ashley , all fixed glued and filled , just a light rub down and re paint .O a plus side id have put wrappers in from my fave addictive sweet Raspberry Ruffles mmmmm so addictive and so nice mmmm sorry just got to wipe the drool off the key board !!!!

This addition looks good to be honest .Next i have put Nelson away for a while and finish the e boat off and clear the decks for a " MONSTER BUILD " the Bismark from Dragon Models along with the upgrade kit all done with many thaks to HMRC as they decided i paid to much tax and sent me a very ,very nice cheque .Spike from Antics on Wood st in Cardiff has advised me to use two motors and make the rudder bigger .This i pick up next weds and will keep you all in the loop on the progress.
