I go now and then to a shop in Shepperton called Nauticalia, they have branches here and there, selling things nautical

 

The Shepperton one currently has a rather large r/c carrier, about 6 feet long in it for sale. its been there for a while no doubt the £2000 price tag (but i suspect a bit of bargaining may lower that) may be to blame but I dont suppose many bods go in the shop looking for large r/c boats…

 

It needs a fair bit of work, but I have chatted to the man, and all the bits that have been dislodged appear to be inside the hull, as do the harriers and helecopters. The inside is a mass of wiring, so there appear to be many working features, and it comes complete with a 6 ? channel radio.

 

 May be of interest to someone out there….

There`s a nice Nauticalia shop, up here in Chester…………..Full of interesting stuff as you say…….

Nelson memoria, sunken treasure, steam engines, display models, telescopes, kits, anchors, canoes, fishing stuff, videos……..etc……Always worth a visit!

 

But! …….£2000?……………….That`s a bit OTT?

Bob, £2000 is a lot of money, but its a big ship…and how much would you spend to build one from scratch??

 

The shop in Shepperton is their main one, and half of it is devoted to seconds, end of line  and shop soiled stuff. A lot of the square rigged boats get damaged, but its a relatively easy job on some of them to fix, and I have got loads in the past for Berengar, for a fraction of the original price.
