I don't know if this is true or just a popular myth but some or all of the main guns are supposedly targeted on South Mims service station.

It says in the write up from my Sunday paper TV Guide that they do fire one of the guns! I assume with blanks!

I'd heard it's Scratchwood Services – or is that the same place? If so then they should be redirected towards Watford Gap SS – and fired!

if this thread has changed to naval targets, I would be very grateful if they would just lob a few over Newington and the Thames into a rather large building on the north bank. I’m sure that would unite the country at this present time.

In keeping with the finest artillery tradition, someone could perhaps chalk on ‘Love from Nicola’.

The Belfast would need to lob her shells over the bend in the river, they would go south of the Shard & could indeed demolish the parliament buildings.

If anyone builds plastic kits, Airfix are planning to re-introduce their 1:600 scale HMS Belfast kit. This release has been delayed a couple of times but is now planned for February 2019. They are re-releasing a number of kits from yesteryear.

There are other manufacturers offering HMS Belfast but I understand the Airfix one is quite an accurate kit.
