      good morning all,i am newbie to this so be gentle lol,i have been given a speed boat 36inches long 14 inches wide ,it has a pointed nose,also rudder ,inside it has 3 separate brushed motors that are wrapped in a coil so water goes round the 3 motors and that is it inside,, it has 3 props each one coming from each motor,so do I need a speed controller for all 3 motors or will one do for them all ,,can you use a lipo battery inside 11.1 volt 3000 mah ,,thanks for reading this look forward to your replys cheers

          Welcome to the forum firstly.

          Can you tell us what motors they are (size, brush(2 wire), brushless( 3 wires) and type and size props please.

          If you can add a few photos would help.

          Yes you can use Lipo's on both types of motors.

              X: I think once you log on there may be a "create album" box somewhere.

              As you have brushed motors, you can use one speed controller, wire the motors in parallel and not series, so each gets the same voltage.

              We would need to know the make of motor to advise on likely type and capacity (in amps) of speed controller, also some motors are not suited to 11V. If props have been fitted we would need to know the type and size of them.
