H.M.S. Agamemnon (1:64) model kit

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone could help me please.

I have a 1:64 model kit of H.M.S. Agamemnon that my late father unfortunately never got around to building.

The kit is made by JoTika Ltd and I have the paper work and serial number to go with it.

My dad was a keen model maker and with any model maker has accumulated lots of bits and pieces along the way.

Im looking to sell everything on behalf of my mother who has the model kit.

What would be the best way to try and sell it?

Any help would be most grateful.

Hi Paul,

Sorry to hear about your father.

Agamemnon is a top class expensive kit so there will be a limited market for it. The main market for model boats and ships is eBay where it would be seen by most people.

If the kit is untouched and in its box then possibly Jotika might be willing to buy it. It would probably be worth asking them for suggestions on what to do with it.

Unfortunately there are no suitable specialist auctions for model boats these days and puting it in a general auction would be unlikely to yield decent price.

Thank you for the advice.

The kit was never opened and everything is still sealed.

I will give Jotika a try and see what they say.
