        Hello Bob,

I would like to ask if you sell any of your ships, i am new to this site and noticed the article about your model the great eastern, stunning What a truely talented fella you are , I am new to building large remote ships and can fully appreciate the skill it takes to do it well, i am only converting a 7 foot hull which I bought, which had been a tramp steamer and have been converting her in to a liner of the same hull design called The Keiser Fredrick, I feel a bit embarresed to call myself a bout builder but I guess I should stary somewhere and I have a long way to go.

            Hi Bob

Sorry I missed your question on 31st Jan asking for deckhouse details, do you still need this info or have you already sorted it out?

            The build looks very impressive.

            All the best

            Paul

              Hello Paul

The deck houses have not been finalised really………..I`ve got the cabin layout sorted now but not really happy with card structures………they look too neat compared to the main hull!

I`ve gone back on the hull now to lick my wounds!…….Thinking of plating the hull with fine ply to represent the original structure……………..there`s not much point in having a fine shiney smooth hull…..it needs to have joints showing!

I was thinking of using thick card with plenty of paint but ply or litho is preferred

              Thanks anyway Paul

Pleased you like the work so far

              Bob the Builda
