working for the 2nd largest security company in the uk mas a relief guard my travels take me all over the country from Weymouth in the south to Camarthen in mid Wales .However on my travels i often end up patrol glouster docks where they have more than a few narrow boats and some wide boat , well thats what i call them anyway , they are twice the width of a narrow boat .Also there is an old "bucket" style dredger there ideal for many photos for a model to be made .There are also a few tall ships there .These docks are ideal for photo opportunities as there are many different boats and the canal not far from there also has lots of narrow boats going up and down and there is a major supermarket close by where you can have a cuppa and also you have a spare few quid you can buy your very own light ship !!!

Ah, went to the Gloucester docks about 28 years ago and they were being tarted up then I believe. A good place to put in the list of "places to visit"
