Sorry chaps, a quickie, as curious as to what one would look like on the water. Sized for boot and not scale. 54mm Airfix German poly partroopers, various 1/32 tanks.

I think the look is about right. May paint the light blue bit grey..did it for a bit of colour but..?

Goes well. see album for more snaps.

Nice to see something different for a change!

It's a pity that Berenger has lost interest

Bob. yes, but at least we had a few years of it, so he has some idea if he want to return later on, If you have not done anything you dont know any better!

I rather like this craft, it is a bit different, but then, thats me all over! Not finished, need splinter mattresses and I will paint the blue bit grey, needs perhaps a few ropes or something spread around.

Also due to not much information being available for the vessel, the external design will be as close to it as can be, but internally im having to wing it so to speak.

Well it’s revival time. Sorry it’s been a while but had a lot going on and today I decided it was time to get back on track. So a bit of a recap.
I’m looking to make a 1/16 scale type d marinefahrprahm to carry my rc tiger tank.
To day I got togetherall my info and started on my project.
Few hours later I had all my scale measurementsand the plan was started.

I currently have the beginning of my plan drawn out.
She’s a big one 3.1 metres long. She will be made from a wooden construction to begin and once happy I will start on the mould to make fibreglass hulls.

She will be a fully operation landing craft that will beach, allow my tanks to disembark and then make her way back out to open water.

She will be a 2 part hull for ease of transport.

If you want a smaller vessel, search for “Siebel Ferry”…
