Eezebilt PT Boat

Finally got the EezeBilt PT Boat in the water.

Unfortunately not the the ideal day for the weather in Derby as some very gusty winds. The boat was run on 7.2v and a lighter 8.4v. The heavier 7.2v battery helping against the wind but it ran in a straight line, turned well after some adjustments, and I got it back dry! My wife says it was my most successful maiden voyage! See pics below.

The conditions were not ideal as we had the end of Storm Hector coming through. Turning into the wind was difficult times but I have worse first runs. I may at some time try a lightweight 9.6 v just to see if the top speed improves.

I should have added my congratulations on your Moonbeam build.

I have a part built Huntsman ( kit) and a part built Italeri Schnellboot S100 on the bench. The conversion of the S 100 is making think.
