Look what I found on the interweb **LINK**

The builder resembles a stout friend of mine.

There are so many Huntsman models out there that are terrible and where their builders have completely failed to do justice to the beautiful curves that the original designer intended.

Thankfully there are model builders who fully appreciate the subtle changes of shape that go into forming these wonderful hulls and are prepared to take the time and trouble to get it right.

Hopefully Dave M can be persuaded to post some more photos of his lovely little model

Just one for the time being. I especially like this one, taken by Steve Dean at Wicksteed Park this year:

Nice model but with an open cockpit……..It needs a driver?

Sorry, Bob, but I don't like silly little dolls and there are no suitable 1/16 scale figures around. Modelling figures is not one of my skills so having no driver is a better option than having one that spoils the rest of the model.

Very nice Dave, looks the Bee's, nice wake and love the way these boats lean into the turns.

I have seen lots of different model versions of these wonderful craft and very few builders are capable of getting the hulls deep curves right moreover in the section just below the foredeck where the hull is almost horizontal.

Take it from me that this section is very difficult to build especially in smaller scale builds (hence my building of a 5ft version)

Serious respect to Dave M who will hopefully post some more photos.

Thanks, Paul, but it really isn't that difficult. If anyone interested takes a look at my album then all will become clear. The secret is any old aerosol can and 120 grit paper. I could say more but then I would have to shoot you all…………..

                          Hi Dave

                          Credit where credit is due.

Besides its all right for you with a smaller boat…a can is just the right size, for my size of model I would have to use a beer keg.

                          Paul
