CD Disk on building a miniature sailing ship (7 inch long)

I have just completed a 30,600+  word, CD disk with 262 illustrations, mainly colour photos, on building the Norwegian barque SVAERDSTAD.

The disk is very comprehensive and also contains plans of the SVAERDSTAD at the correct scale, 32’=1″.

 

It is NOT a movie, it will only work in computers with Acrobat Reader installed.

 

Total cost (including postage is £11) .   Will post world-wide.

 

Took me months and months to write.    Completed it two hours ago!

it’s just the sort of thing that modellers new to the game, and that are mystified by your particular field of modelling, need.

Hi Neil,

Thanks.   Last one did exceptionally well.    Started this one months ago and was feeling pretty “burned out” when I completed it late this afternoon.   Had computer problems converting it to PDF Acrobat, but finally got it right.    Started at 0630 Bst today, finished at 1800!    Just had three glasses of Vino!    First one sold a few minutes ago!

A number of Ebay users assured me that it was OK and suggested I contact them direct and not take what a Discussion Board Moderator had to say.   I did so and after about 48 hours, they came back and said as long as I was writing and making them myself, it was OK.   The only problem is with illegal copies.    So, back in action again.

Hi Neil,

I didn’t actually get banned.   I was on the discussion boards and I answered a query from someone about how to list multiple copies of CDs on Ebay.   The usual thing happened and a number of what I call “Barrack Room Lawyers” pounced on me and said selling e-books on Ebay was prohibited.       I replied in my own particular fashion saying I didn’t believe it as two million others were listed at the time!     A board Moderator then came on and assured me they were banned and suggested I contact Ebay direct if I didn’t believe it!    I did believe it (when it came from a moderator) and simply stopped listing them.      I then received numerous e-mails from other CD sellers saying it was permitted and suggested  I contact Ebay.      I did so and I gave them a link to my last listing and also to my website.    After about 48 houirs, they came back and said it was OK as long as they were not pirated copies etc etc.   As I produce them myself, they are OK.

Hello Bob,

Have received the disc today thanks. Post has been delayed down our neck of the woods due to snow again.

 

Going by what I have read so far I would not hesitate in recommending this CD to anyone. It is very interesting. I like the spar alignment tool Bob, I can think of a few other uses for it when building masts etc on larger models.

Glad it arrived OK.    When I first designed the spar alignment tool, I feared it might be a bit of “overkill,”  but it comes in useful for all sorts of things and I wouldn’t be without it now.
