Hi everyone – I have an unwanted kit of the Caldercraft SS Vulcano for sale.  The hull has rudder and shaft holes drilled and that is all.  Every single white metal fitting are still in their respective plastic bags, rudder, shafts all intact.  All the original kit parts are still in the lidless box along with all the plans.

The stand is manufactured from harwood, all varnished and very good.

It was a pleasure making your aquaintance and i’m pleased the kit went to a true modeller after being in my roof space and garage since 1993!  Enjoy the build and please email me a picture of her under way.

 

Here is my long shot – my true desire is to build a model of the recently flooded and destroyed HMS Endurance, ex MV Polar Circle.  I served in her for 2 years, there is no kit or plans available but she was displayed in Model Boats recently, i emailed the magazine with no joy, any ideas??

sorry pete, i wouldn’t have a clew where to find them, but if you put a request onthe scratch build secion you might get a better response than here on the for sale.

your pics came through last night……..they look really well.
