building the tug BOKA ALPINE

Presently building one of the strongest power ocean going tug ever built for Dutch owners. Being a retired crew member of several tugboat companies world wide and the last 20 years until recently a TFM in Germany now having time to finish my building.

Making it although different then it was designed for without prop shafts / rudders / stern trust but using 2 x 360 degrees rotating (steering) Azimuth's from Schottel what is power full and built needs to be strengthen in several directions to scope with the force. You will see on the pictures that I have used several supports and even made the bow part massive included the surroundings of bow trust as those are the weak parts in a Billing Boat kit.

Also making a helideck as these days it is essential to serve the client optimal and therefore making this as in real life too.

Furthermore will make most parts electric like winches / radars / cranes etc and also the illumination helideck and aft deck will be done.
