Hi I’m about to cut my keel out of 3/16 ply. I’m struggling to find any pictures of the fwd section B1 and how it all goes together any help would be much appreciated ☺

In the Model Maker Plan of the Brave border.

The B1 frame is in two halves as the bow is made on solid balsa.

Hi Harry thankyou very much for the photos and help. Is it best to glue balsa together to make one piece them shave it down to size. Thinking maybe I should have picked something a little easy for first build lol.

Making the balsa one piece is the better way to go.

If you shave off too much, use builders bog for filler.

A rough wood file is tool for shaping.

The bow is the hardest area of the hull to shape.

I am on easier street, I was given the fiberglass hull !!!

But it's taken 10 coats of primer/filler/undercoat to get waves out of the hull.
