Bob Symes-Schutzmann

Presenter of 1985 TV series Model Magic, Bob Symes-Schutzmann passed away on the 19-01-2015. He was mainly known for his model railway work, but we remember him featuring the wonderful HMS Vanguard by Alex mcFadyen at the end of the programme on model boats.

He was born on the 4th May 1924 and was of Austrian descent.

Bob was a great advocate of modeling, his model world series was great viewing in the ’80s. We will not see his like again. A much missed real gentleman. RIP.

Hi Andy , I met Bob twice at Model Engineering Events in the 80,s He was a true gent R.I.P Bob . He was not like a lot of high Profile people these days are are stuck up there own A*** .
