Hi Paul and Bob ,Having spent a short time with you on Saturday I now realise how much you have put into the show .Elaine and I will miss the focal point we had in meeting you both and meeting new faces who,s names now mean more

I,m sure that I am not on my own in appreciating your efforts remembering the banter which came across the tables

Paul and Bob , Its sad news you won,t be doing the stall next year but hay you should be proud of the work you have put in and the money you have raised over the last couple of years . Like Colin says you can both go to the show and just enjoy yourselfs like the rest of us do . You can meet up with everyone and chew the fat over a brew.

The nice people at the Parkinson's Society have sent me a letter which I have copied and attached below.

I know £146.20 doesn't seem like much but every little bit helps.

Special mention goes to Bob who is personally responsible for raising at least £30, as the people who donated to see the Lady Joyce run will confirm.

This just about wraps things up, as far as the Haydock show is concerned

The last two years were great fun at Haydock, but due to failing health etc we are unable continue the shows due to the heavy manual labour involved

I should think Pauls charity work will continue, regarding the digital plans side of things?

Hi Bob

Yes it wraps it up nicely and I will be forever in debt to all of the people that helped me but most of all my thanks has to go to you.

Without your help in building the boats I would never have got this charitable idea off the ground and I will always be very grateful for your patience and understanding whilst we sorted out Ellie, Brutus and the VGC.

The charitable design work will continue but mainly with private commissions although I will always make the time to do another 'warts and all' build with you on this forum.

It was very nice having the stand as it gave everyone a fixed place to meet, sit down and have a chat. Being in a fixed point for two days gave all our friends plenty of chance to meet up I will really miss it.
