Hi Guys,
we're back home on the rock, boat got us in from Liverpool just before midnight, crowded but a nice pleasant trip on the fast craft, Manannan.
Great to meet you both, though we'd not much time to chew the cud. We, like you, had interest throughout the first day and half, though it tailed right off Sunday pm. Complete opposites we were, you at the ground floor entrance at your end and us, hidden away right down at the far end, as far away as possible, and upstairs (the stairs being nicely hidden to view by Bob's Club display presenting a blank screen to the doors, so visitors walked around their front and missed any signs pertaining to the 6 Clubs and displays up stairs in the Final Furlong Bar.)
Bob, the hangman's noose you ordered is in the post! As to the cat and 9 tails, well, Manx cats don't have tails do they?
Now to sort it all out, put away and start getting stuff ready for Warwick in November, only 2 months to go.
Thanks to all who managed to find us at the Vintage Crew display, we all, Gareth, Elizabeth and Theresa really appreciate your interest, questions and small talk. Interaction is what these shows are all about, get up and chat, sometimes about boats and stuff, but just get up and meet the visitors, they've paid to see your builds so get friendly and tell them all about them too.
to those that requested things and stuff from me, I hope to be in touch soon just to confirm my list, sails, string, yachting parts and in one case "how does this work" an answer from the master hopefully, as I had no idea.
Aye, Kim
