              Hi Larry

Bob has been worried about me because I have got pleurisy but thankfully I am on the mend and getting up to speed sorting out the display boards and brochures for Haydock.

I am really looking forward to Haydock as I get to meet everyone and to resolve some unfinished business.

I hope that people wont be disappointed with the Thor that will be on display as it is only a semi working prototype and as such is very rough around the edges.

I have learnt so much from Laurel & Hardy that I am going to do my utmost to do the 250 mile round trip to Haydock on the Saturday just to say thanks.

Mike ( and that proves that I really am totally cracked ! )

I would very much like to attend but it is around 4 to 5 hours driving each way including a chunk of the M25 and the highway horrors around Birmingham so I will probably have to settle for the reports.

I am entrusting the ACTion part of Component Shop's stand there to Iain Lewis, on his own with it for the first time. Liz and I have a family "do" that weekend so any and all reports back of Iain's performance will be good for a laugh!

Bob, I have never been to Haydock simply because it is really too far and an unpleasant drive to boot, not to mention the expense. The Warwick show is only a few weeks later and I can do that in a day.

Driving is no fun these days

I wouldn't fancy driving to Sandown Park or Warwick either!

The Etherow club organise coach trips to the long distance shows

I once went to the Model Engineer Exhibition in London from Manchester in a taxi!……….As a club member was a taxi driver, it was lovely

                                          Only a week to go.

The boats are all ready, the brochures are done and the display boards are finished all I have to do is complete the video package and burn some designs onto CDs.

Got a debt to settle which has to be done face to face, I am quite looking forward to this as I've wanted to repay this members kindness for a few months.

Hoping to see all of my online chums.

Same question from me, Gareth, it appears that the posted list of locations "with all Clubs, Traders, Individuals and Charitable displays " is not actually correct or complete. Perhaps there's another room missed from the list?

We could take Paul and Bob's spot by getting there early…….my boat gets in about 12:30 to Heysham so could be at Haydock by opening time.

I've sent out questions to organisers, would welcome answers from anyone in the know?

Here's the answer – direct from Arthur – someone has erred!

Those Clubs and individuals (6) missing from the floor plan currently being shown this morning are, in fact, accommodated in the FINAL FERLONG Bar, which is on the first floor. This location has been missed from the list of display rooms, so please, after calling in on Paul and Bob, pop up and see us too.

I'm informed the website will be corrected shortly (if he survives.)
