Battery required

New to this. I require a suitable battery to power the motor. It is a Goolrc 4082 and have a 120amp esc. I’m having trouble working out what size of lipo battery to buy that would power these items Any help would be most gratefully received.

This is a fearsome motor and not one I'd personally fit in a model boat. Here's a video of one model with such a motor using a 6S LiPo batery – it would scare the life out of me! **LINK** That said, you haven't said what type/brand/model of boat you have it installed in nor which size and type of prop you intend to use.

Dave thanks for your help. I thought I might have to get 6s batteries just wanted to make sure. Boat is my own design made of fibreglass. Yes the motor is powerful but not into racing just want the power as model is 50″ long.
Do you know where to get 4mm gold male connectors for the esc to connect to the motor.
