Bass wood deck on a fast electric how to finish

I have built a fast electric starting with a fibreglass hull, I have put a wooden deck on it, so how do I finish it do I seal it with fibreglass resin or something else?

If you wish to keep the wood grain finish then I would suggest 2-3 coats of Rustin's Plastic Coating, which is a two-pack furniture finishing product and very hard when set. I dilute it about 15% with their thinners and apply it with a soft brush. It's naturally glossy but you can flatten it down to a satin finish with a red Scotchbright pad or fine steel wool. Works for me.
