Try your local auction houses where they will list it as a museum / display / designer piece but unless it is 100% accurate it is doubtful that it will sell for any great value and you will have the added 15 to 20% auction house fees + VAT to pay.

Your best option is probably ebay or some similar online auction facility where you do have a little more control over the sale.

thanks for the reply paul,its been seen by an auction house and classed it as a museum standard but they are not the auction i want to sell it in.ive seen them on ebay and they are of poor quality.

Museum standard will always sell no matter where you advertise it however this level of scale accuracy is very difficult to reach and any museum standard model Severn should look exactly like this link

try Charles miller auctions in London. he only has two sales a year for maritime and the auction closes on entries in april for the may auction………

and not to be insulting in any way he does take lower end models such as your Severn now and then, but when his models reach world records of 160 k for a model or 380k for a flag flown at Trafalgar, you can see the class of his entries……good luck.

I must be getting old and senile,. as I made a comment on here two nights ago giving the auction house website and the auction that it was for sale in………….and it came out as a double post………so I deleted what I thought was the double post………seems as though I deleted both…………….and now I have forgotten where I got the original info from………………..age is not what its cracked up to be, lol………sorrreeeee.
