I've recently moved to modelling boats and in order to reduce my expenses a bit and having recently acquired an Android tablet I bought a digital subscription. Unfortunately the Android app is something of a pain to use (at least on my Nexus 7).
To read the text or see any detail it is neccessary to zoom in – I've no problem with that, it's to be expected on a small screen. The problem is that once zoomed in the amount of scrolling possible is limited. You can put a finger on the screen and drag it OK for a little way, but then it seems to hit a rubber wall – you can drag it a bit more but on releasing it bounces back. And if you try to hold it against the 'rubber' it shakes around. Typically this is when starting at the top of the page and scrolling down – as you do when reading.
Sometimes I can work round by zooming out then double tapping near the bottom of the page to zoom in where I need to see, but this often does not work and it's a total blitz on a good read to have to keep doing it. I've all but given up trying to use the tablet for this magazine and have to use the computer instead.
Is this issue known? If so is there any prospect of a fix?
