AERONAUT PILOT MODEL BOAT KIT

I like the look of this kit, for a first time build. I,am an experienced aircraft modeller but fancy having a change this winter, I need to find a kit. To me this looks ok.

Anyone any experience of it etc.

Hello Glyn,

I have no personal experience of this kit or others from the same maker, but have only ever heard good things about them.

I have also had a good look at the kit instructions as available on the Aero-naut website (**LINK**), and must say that it looks like a well thought-out and complete kit, with thorough and well-illustrated (and properly translated!) step-by-step instructions.

It is a rather unusual kit, too, in that, although the hull is built on frames, the main building material is laser cut ABS plastic, with most details made up from etched metal.

Hello Mattias,

yes I too looked at that info, and it looked ok as far as my newbie eyeballs could see. Anyway on Sunday next I am intending to visit a club and if all is good unless they strongly recommend I try another model ( I have four on my short list) I will probably treat myself for Christmas.
