Hello,
I am a rank beginner who is interested in a Tug to go after his T37 Sailboat if it becomes disabled and can not return tome under its own power. I have chosen a kit called a TWIN TUGSTER:

But have yet to select propulsion and power for my Tug. Radio control will behandled by a SPEKTRUM DX18 and one of their AR400 DSMX 4-Channel Receivers:

Most likely, I will use a pair of 6vDC sealed gel cell batteries from the manufacturer of the kit:

Now comes the heart of my quandry —> motor / motors and a speed controller ( ESC here in the States ). I think I would like a single brushed inrunner low rpm high torque 12 vDC motor running a gearbox to drive two propeller shafts and maybe even a servo controlled clutch. A set-up with a single motor would require a single ESC while a two-motor set-up would require two ESCS. Am I correct. As to the matter of cooling, ZIPPKITS sells an ESC water cooler and I am sure I can get a cooling coil for my motor / motors:

Does anyone have some recommendations on size, pitch, and number of blades for bronze props for my working Tug ? Sources for hardware for my Tug would also be appreciated. I found HARBOR MODELS as one site:

Lastly, here is the Midwest, there used to be tractor pulls where two tractors would be connected to each other and they would pull in an attempt to drag their opponent in the direction they sere going:

Does anyone try to do this kind of pulling with RC Tug Boats ?
Thank you for taking the time to read and help / make suggestions to a lowly and uninformed beginner.
