I'm changing out the old setup as there just wasn't the power required even for scale speed. So I've got 2 Maytech Ghost 3548 790KV Brushless Outrunner Motors:

      and 2 ESC's:

and the choice of 1 or 2 batteries:

My question is what props should I use?

      Thanks

      Roger

          Hi Roger,

Is it the smaller one 37" long ? If so I'd start with X35's

          Regards Ray

            Hi Ray,

The hint is in the title laugh, it's the biggun, circa 49" oal.

            Regards

Sorry Ray, I have no idea as to what x in x45 means? frown

                  Roger

Plastic props are supplied with two different pitches. S=standard and X=Coarse. Cast-metal props tend to have their pitch as part of the serial number e.g. a 1415 Propshop prop is 1.4" diameter x 1.5" pitch. Hope that helps.

Will plastic props suffice for this boat, and should they be left and right handed?

                    Regards

                    Roger

                      Hi Roger,

Yes plastic is fine for your boat & they are cheap 😀

                      Regards Ray
