        Please Help.

        I have three model boats

        1) Vosper Fast Patrol Boat built from a Veron kit. Measures 52″ in length, powered by a 61 cu Merco engine

2)M.T.B built from scratch from Model Maker Plans Service. Measures 36″ in length powered by a 25 cu engine(no longer present).

3)Fairmile IIO C Type, again built from scratch from M.M.P.S. Measures 55″ in length powered by a 35 cu engine(no longer present).

All three boats were built by my father in the early 70’S and have not been in the water since. They now sit in my Mum’s shed in deseprate need of repair.

I have no experiance with Models of any kind and no idea were or how to start to bring these boats back to life but would dearly love to see them in the water again( i was about 2 last time).

If anyone is willing to have a look or offer any advice i would be very gratful.
I am local to Norwich, Norfolk .

        Cheers

        Steve.

Weedeater motors seem to run between 20 and 30 cc that I have seen … I have a 30cc in a scale jetboat [42″]  …. the thing you need to get clued up on is modern radio control I suspect … good luck
