Northern Lighthouse Vessel Pharos

Having finished work on his truly impressive Maid of the Loch Lachie Stewart has started work again on his model of the Northern Lighthouse ship Pharos. He stopped work on this model about 3 years ago and has only recently gone back to it. Completion and maiden voyage soon hopefully.

Will pass your compliment on to Lachie. Noticed the dog after I had posted video on YouTube. Hoped no one else would notice but you are too observant for me.

He sailed the Pharos on the Forth and Clyde Canal at Clydebank on Saturday and the boat was repeatedly attacked by a swan. Lost the Mainmast overboard but other than that relatively little damage. Apparently at one point the bird forced the stern of the boat underwater!

 

Unfortunately i couldn’t be there so no pictures or video.
