One of the strongest and totally waterproof adhesives is Cascamite , which is still available . The one trick with this powder based glue is you can control the setting time. I have used Cascamite for many years and it really has stood the test of time. **LINK** Dave Wooley

Thanks all for the replays well as you can see the old girl is nearly ready for the painting stage was thinking of dark blue hull and white deck with brass trimmings but not to sure yet I have a few concerns with the motor that came with this as I have read a few reviews that state it as ok but under power, I am at a bit of a loss on this one as I have allways done ic engines in cars boats and helicopters but have little knowledge in the electric department I would like it to be scale as well as a little fun at times it's running a standard 65 mm brass prop on 12volts ,would like to spice it up a little so any ideas or sit-ups would be really gratefully recieved
