hello all
Thanks for the kind comments
Sorry the photos aren't better, just a case of silly little me trying to take pics and drive the boat at the same time! lol. She covers a fair bit of water rather quickly, and is hard to follow with the camera. Once Sam has discovered her, (It may take a few weeks, he dosen't go down to the launch all that often, leaves it to me as it's only a few miles from my work) I shall endeavour to post some much better pics.
Ashley, your posts make me giggle! This project took way too long, with a few too many red herrings along the way, but I learnt heaps and enjoyed the process. Doing everything from bits and bobs is the hard way, but I couldn't have afforded it any other way. The whole project cost a little over $100, (50 or so quid). Even the replacement engine paid for it's self. ( I bought two weed eaters on the same auction, $20 for both. The Still that is in the boat, and a ryobi, which I got going again and sold for $30!)
Any way I shall stop for a cuppa and slice, before starting the next project, which shall absolutely be a "small, slow and girly" electric!
